2nd collaboration photo /cover with Blue Note Japan is Out !
This time, I had another amazing photo shoot with Sax Player, Dave Koz. During his busy days & hours, he gave us approx 45min. with us. It was hectic for getting 4 different settings but at the same time, once shooting started at each set, I felt like we're kind of hanging out... listening to him playing sax, enjoying good conversation with him, me flicking around... felt like good quality of time... Good vibe!

It's for Blue Note Japan's free paper magazine "Jam" that is available in Tokyo.

新しいFree paper "Jam"がでました。
先月、Warren Beaty似、good lookingな、smooth Jazzのsax player, Dave KozをBlue Note Japanのfree paper "Jam"の表紙とinterview page用に撮影。
撮影は、West LAにある、The Villageという音楽studioにて。撮影前日にlocation スカウトにいった時は、今こちらの子供達に大人気のJustin Bieberがrecordingしていて、壁には、smashing pumpkinやら（rock)から、usherから(r&b)、jessica simpsonから(pop), jazz artistまでのプラチナdiscが所狭しと並び、、、というような歴史の長い名物スタジオ。 daveは前日hollywood bowlでjason Mrazとsummer timeをsax & singingでduet performanceして,次の日はtvの撮影、と大忙しの中、そんな彼の４５分を撮影にくれました。４箇所違う場所で撮りたかったので、ばたばたと移動しつつも（嵐）、それぞれの立ち位置にはいってもらうと、あっというまにtranceして、彼がsaxを奏でるのを聴いたり、daveとassistantのchrisとhang outして、話が盛り上がっているような中で、shutterを切っていたようなような,,,２時間くらいhang outしていたような感覚で（静けさ）、あっという間、かつとても楽しくて、また一つ思いで深い出会い＆セッションになった撮影でした。
今回は、４つのうち、全く違うconceptの写真が表紙を飾る予定だったのが、急遽変更でlive感 conceptのカットに。
