It's been amazing couple of weeks, since it's so behind from all post process (processing photos, edit--taking lots of time -- then retouch) and focus on it, I haven't been able to blog anything but little by little I'm catching up.. well not really.. but finally I'm blogging for a long time.
Couple weeks ago, I photographed one of LA Graffiti Legend & Amazing artist, Saber, at his studio, then got invited to photograph his latest huge mural project with Shepard Fairley on the wall of "Barracuda" store on Melrose.
I got tons of footage and have been narrowing down from hundreds of photos to few. Obviously, it's not easy at all for me that I had hard time, tried out different way many time and made myself confuse. which one is the best flow..
This time, I tried analogue way.. means... not edit so much in computer but after narrowing down like 30, I printed those out on 4x6 size, putting on the wall and look at it many times after different mood at different time. swapping, take some out.. back & forth, Then I started fold them and pretend it's 2x3 size little photo book (zine)... It is a little bit different for me to have actual "book"=turn the page with your finger.
Compare with "looking at computer screen" = publish on the internet, obviously It is different, at the same time, super fresh. I ended up glue all and made little photo book zine, and I'm really enjoying making it, although it's not easy to make it neat..
I will publish these set of photos pretty soon. Stay in tune!!
