Amazing story/interview that really inspired me. 

I usually set up the light while interview is going on, however, this one, i ended up sitting together with Mr.Ohno, an editor-in-chief of the magazine and enjoy the interview together, which his story was so strong, we had to have a moment before driving to the next shoot. 

What he talked about is very simple yet people forget to do. 

Please check the article. Well, i bet in the near future, these interview will be published in English and even longer, which i do hope it happens soon.

Today I received CD & cd booklet of japanese artist, Kyary pamyu pamyu's "Pamyu Pamyu revolution".  I had great opportunity to stick around & photo document a day with her,  enjoying LA, also the day of her live show. She is the artist who has such a fun visual concept. This Zine size booklet for her new CD starts amazing photo series shot by Takeshi Hanzawa.  then goes to my photo documentary then b+ whom i love his work. Very well done edit to show who she is. I'm so honor to be part of it. Huge Thanx to Pamyu Pamyu! all her crews! Hiro!!

Photo Shoot Recap - Chaka Khan -

                   I had opportunity to photograph Chaka Khan couple years ago. It was at the music video shoot for Japanese Artist Ai for the song Chaka collaborate with her. It was amazing to witness great artists collaborate and share thru music.

I used to listen FEN radio that was the only 'juicy' resources/radio that can feel american radio back then. I mean... way before "internet" era. It was very limited in japan.  Her voice was from that radio and America was far & surreal. Well, now I live in the US. When I photograph legends like her or artists i grew up listening& etc, someho, it doesn't feel surreal or anything on the site, however when I really think about it, it's crazy how the life goes to the place you never imagined. How i could image to.. well, first live in that "surreal' place, then even meet her in person... the person whose voice was from that little radio...?         This photo made me think about it today.

Photography let me meet people or places whom I would not meet or go nor experience if i were not photographer. And allow me to feel vibe, energy and all kinds of stuffs. It's absoluely one of the factors i love doing what i do.
