'Giant Steps" show is Coming in June!!

I am so honor to be part of this group photography showcase that is going to open on 4th June. One of my great photo friend, curator of this show, Gari Askew invited me to be part of it. Gari and I met at the photo shoot assisting a photographer from NY back then. For me it was the beginning of assisting and barely know the thing. This photographer was shooting with Pentax 67 mainly and Gari taught me how to roll film & how the pentax 67 works.. After that, I fell in love with pentax 67 and ended up owing my own body.. Because of that, I’m still clearly remember that shoot/day. Also he taught me one of photograph I got so inspired and love was taken by Thierry le Goues.  We barely see or work together anymore but somehow encounter at rental house, Pix all the time and this happened!!  I will drop 2 photos from my personal project “artist series” portrait. Very exciting!

Recap- Inspiration 2011- Vintage Vintage Vintage!

"Inspiration" is once in the year, the kulture recycling and Vintage Fashion event started in 2010,hosted by Rin Tanaka who is the author of the "My Freedamn!" book series. 

2nd inspiration was held at Queen Mary at Long Beach Port, CA. 

During this 2 days show, total of 120 exhibitors booth - fashion brand, artists and vintage fashion dealer- welcomed people who love vintage fashion/culture from all around the world! 

 These are few photos I took while enjoying the event, lots of people has such a great vibe that feels like almost having fun at the festival or some, even they're working at the booth. 

If you have never been there and love or just interested in vintage fashion and culture, you better be check next year for sure.
